The main barn has seven over-sized stalls, each with a large outside window. The walls
are insulated block and timber. Stall floors are made of Equestall flooring which is both cushioned and drains well. There is a twelve foot wide center aisle, large tack room with
toilet, indoor and outdoor wash stalls, radiant floor heat in tack and wash room, and hot and cold water. The barn has superior ventilation and lighting. Five of the stalls overlook the Buck and Doe Run River which flows into the Brandywine River at the end of the 1/3 mile driveway. A four stall shed row barn with Equestall flooring, automatic Nelson waterers, and temperature controlled ceiling fans neighbors the main barn. A loafing shed adjoins one of the larger fields.

Laurels Forge Farm has excellent turnout in large pastures with HorseGuard or diamond mesh fencing. Pastures are lush and we have a couple small paddocks for lay-ups or dieters. There is a turf square with a full set of schooling jumps, a sand ring, and a round pen. There are numerous opportunities for local cross-country schooling. The farm is directly adjacent to the 700 acre Laurels Nature Preserve and is surrounded by 10,000 acres of deed-restricted farmland with many miles of
trails and fields for hacking. We are in the heart of the Cheshire Hunt country and close to a number of renowned horse trainers and competitors. Our farm is an ideal location for someone who wants to enjoy unlimited hacking through some of the best and most open countryside between Washington, D.C. and New York City.
